Air Force prepping for trip to Big House vs. Michigan

Posted: Updated:

From Bye Week to the Big House.

Air Force is getting set to take on #7 Michigan for the second time in five years on Saturday. The game kicks off at noon in Ann Arbor, 10 am locally.

This is the highest ranked team the Falcons have played since they took on #4 Michigan State in 2015.

Head Coach Troy Calhoun didn't shy away from the talent the Wolverines possess on the field.

"They are gonna have games where they score 50 points," Calhoun said. "Extremely electric across the board - especially when you look at their backs and their receivers and then having a veteran quarterback too. Defensively no one has played better defense than they have in the country so far."

The Wolverines have only allowed 31 points through two games so far.

"We don't look at a team and say, 'well I don't know what we are going to do here blah blah blah...' we are going to go out there play hard and play for every single second," said defensive end Santo Coppola. "That's one of the reason's I love this place is no matter who we are playing, or whatever people think of us as a team, we are going to go out there and do everything to the best of our ability."
