Local businesses hold donation drive for hurricane victims

The St. John's Baptist Church is partnering with Swan Law Funeral Directors to provide hurricane relief for those in Florida and Texas. They will be holding a donation drive at Swan Law Funeral Home in Colorado Springs from Sept. 11-15 between 8:30 a.m. and 4:00 p.m.

The owners of 'Two Men and a Truck" are providing transportation to Texas and Florida once items are donated. They will not be accepting money but the following items are needed:

  • Toiletries
  • Hygiene products
  • Clothes for men, women and children
  • Bottled water
  • Baby clothes
  • Baby food
  • Pet food

They encourage all to donate, as they will be driving the items to both Texas and Florida.
