Air Force Academy senior pleads guilty to child porn charges

Posted: Updated:

An Air Force Academy senior pleaded guilty to possession of child pornography and wrongfully recording people without their knowledge or consent.

Cadet Jacob Cook was sentenced to 30 months confinement, dismissal from the academy and forfeiture of all day and allowances.

Cook entered his plea in an agreement from prosecutors to drop a charge of abusive sexual conduct.

The Academy said Cook was accused of knowingly and wrongfully recording people using a phone without their consent and "under circumstances in which they had a reasonable expectation of privacy."

Cook said in court Tuesday he used a hidden cellphone to record two girls when they undressed and showered at his father's house.
