Apple shows off new iPhone

CUPERTINO, Calif. - Apple CEO Tim Cook revealed the eagerly anticipated new iPhone X at a launch event at the new Apple complex in Silicon Valley, Calif Tuesday.

The new phone celebrates the tenth anniversary of the very first iPhone, released in 2007.

The phone will also be Apple's first without a home button, and like the last model, will not have a headphone jack.

The phone will also use facial recognition to unlock the device as well as other features. 

The iPhone X will start at $999 and will be available starting Nov. 3. People will be able to pre-order it staring Oct. 22, 2017.

The company also released the new iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 plus, which will have glass on both front and back.

It also features an upgraded 12 megapixel camera as well as wireless charging.

The iPhone 8 will start at $699 and will be available to pre-order on Sept. 15. The phone will be available Sept. 22. 

Both the iPhone X and iPhone 8 will also improve their ability to power augmented reality gaming software as well. 

Apple also released the newest version of the Apple Watch at the event. The watch will have the ability to stream Apple Music as well.

    Deputies from the Fremont County Sheriff's Office say a body has been found near the Arkansas River in the Texas Creek area. The discovery was made around sunset at 5 p.m. when investigators responded. It is unclear if the body belongs to a man or woman or any other identifying information.
