The 90th annual Florence Pioneer Days Festival kicks off this Friday with three days of family-friendly events.

Organizers bring people together in the small community to celebrate their Wild West roots, along with the vibrant art, agriculture and ranching heritage that exists today.

The Junktique opens for business on Friday morning, with food vendors and craft booths offering locally made goods. Enjoy the open-air market on North Santa Fe Avenue from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Friday and Saturday.

Friday night's main attraction is the "Spirits of the Past" at the Rialto Theater on West Main Street beginning at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are only $5 for the event where the audience is introduced to the newly crowned King and Queen of this year's events.
