Death Metal Band Kidnapping Arrest

SPOKANE, Wash. (AP) - The Latest on the arrest of four members of the Polish death metal band Decapitated (all times local):

Four members of a Polish death metal band have waived extradition and will return to Washington state face charges of kidnapping a woman after a concert in Spokane.
    
KABC-TV reports (http://bit.ly/2wVEwgq ) the four members of the band Decapitated appeared Tuesday in a Los Angeles courtroom.
    
In court documents, the unidentified woman says band members Michal Lysejko, Waclaw Kieltyka, Rafal Piotrowski and Hubert Wiecek held her against her will and also sexually assaulted her in the bathroom of the bus after an Aug. 31 show and then left for another show.
    
They were arrested Saturday in Santa Ana, California.
    
Their attorney, Steve Graham, has said there's another side to what happened and the band members will fight the allegations.

Authorities say the four members of a well-known Polish death metal band have been arrested on suspicion of kidnapping a woman after a concert last month in Washington state.
    
Spokane Police Department spokeswoman Cpl. Teresa Fuller says that the members of the band Decapitated were arrested early Saturday in Santa Ana, California, on suspicion of kidnapping a woman after their Aug. 31 concert in Spokane.
    
Fuller says the woman told police just before 2 a.m. on Sept. 1 about the alleged kidnapping by the band members. The band had performed at a concert in downtown Spokane.  Fuller says the woman attended the heavy metal concert.
    
The spokeswoman says band members were arrested by the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Office after their Friday night concert in Santa Ana. They are 27-year-old Michal M. Lysejko, 35-year-old Waclaw J. Kieltyka, 31-year-old Rafal T. Piotrowski, and 30-year-old Hubert E. Wiecek. All are Polish citizens.
    
They are being held in the Los Angeles County Jail and will face extradition to Spokane.

Watkins' body found in the very place where he loved to ride on Sunday and there remain a lot of unanswered questions a day later. This news has most people on edge in the heart of Palmer Lake, with a strong warning from the El Paso County Sheriff's Office to remain vigilant. "It's a small town, you feel safe in a town like this, that's why people move here," David Tenace, a neighbor said.
