Friday Football Fever Week 2 - Game of the Week

Posted: Updated:

GAME OF THE WEEK: POMONA VS FOUNTAIN-FORT CARSON

The Fountain-Fort Carson Trojans were looking to earn a win in a rematch from a blowout last year at the hands of the Pomona Panthers. But the out-of-towners were too tough, pulling off a 42-7 win Friday night.

Pomona is one of the deepest tradition rich programs in the state. They played in the 5A title game last year vs. Valor. They are #2 in the Rankings.

Fountain-Fort Carson aka FFC (not ranked) is in their second year under new leadership with Jake Novotny as their head coach. Tons of talent and athleticism and maybe getting turned in the right corner. The Trojans won last week, beating Ralston Valley, 21-6.
