The El Paso County Sheriff's office identified the victim of a shooting in a neighborhood near the Colorado Springs Airport Tuesday morning.

Deputies said they found 41-year-old Jack Andrew Cole dead at a home in the 3900 block of Shining Star Drive, which is near the intersection of Marksheffel Road and Drennan Rd.

The El Paso County Coroner has ruled the death as a homicide.

Authorities have not arrested a suspect, and they said they do not think there is a threat to the public.

Deputies were dispatched to the home around 2:00 a.m. Tuesday. Deputies said everyone inside the home at the time of the shooting knew each other, meaning there were no strangers in the home at the time.

Deputies said they are still investigating the case.
