Tropical Storm Jose forms behind Hurricane Irma

With Texas still recovering from Hurricane Harvey and Florida bracing for Hurricane Irma,  a new threat is brewing in the Atlantic.

The National Hurricane Center has now named its 10th Tropical storm of the season, Tropical Storm Jose.

It's could grow to hurricane strength by Friday.

It's moving 13 miles per hour to the west-northwest with maximum sustained winds of almost 40 miles per hour.

As of Tuesday afternoon, it's still more than 1,000 miles east of the Caribbean.
