COLORADO SPRINGS -

Colorado Springs Police are searching for the suspects who held victims at gunpoint while stealing items from their home Tuesday morning.

It happened around 1:45 a.m. on Fenton Road south of Fountain Boulevard. The victims say several unknown suspects came into their home armed with at least one gun. After being held at gunpoint while the suspects searched their rooms, one victim was able to get away and to a neighbor's home where they called 911.

As police were arriving on scene they say the suspect's vehicle passed them. The suspects did not stop for police and officers began to chase them in their patrol cars. However, eventually police had to end the chase because speeds were becoming too dangerous. The suspects later ditched their vehicle and officers found it.

No one was injured in the incident.

If you know anything about this you are asked to contact CSPD at 444-7000.

Vandals dump sugar inside gas tank of pink Cadillac, business owner says

A local business owner is trying to get to the bottom of what looks like some targeted vandalism.  She says someone dumped a bag of sugar in the gas tank of her 1960's Cadillac.   The owner, Lisa Harrington, says it happened on Saturday with lots of activity in the store and in the area.  The Cadillac, a landmark associated with the store, was parked on West Colorado Avenue at the time. It wasn't until a few days later when Harrington realized something was wrong.
