Pueblo police warn public of man posing as officer

PUEBLO - Pueblo Police were contacted by a woman who claimed to have been pulled over by a man she believed to be an officer late Thursday night. The woman told police that she was pulled over by a black car with red and blue lights in the 2000 block of Mesa Ave.

The man allegedly asked her for her registration and insurance and ordered her out of the vehicle. She also told police that the suspect shoved her head on the hood of her car.

The suspect is described to be wearing dark clothing with a badge, 5'10" with blonde hair, no name plate on his shirt and no visible patches.

If anyone has any information regarding this incident please contact the Pueblo Police Department. If your information leads to a felony arrest, you could be eligible for a cash reward.
