Brace yourself Broncos fans, Brock Osweiler is once again in orange and blue. The former Denver quarterback returns to the team after being traded from Houston to Cleveland and ultimately being released by the Browns before the 2017 season even began.
Brock's return to the Broncos comes purely by chance, after backup quarterback Paxton Lynch went down with a shoulder injury in the team's third preseason game.
"When Brock made the decision he made the best decision for him. It's just funny how these things worked out and with our situation and Brock being available, it's just funny how everything aligned," said Broncos General Manager, John Elway.
The new contract is worth $775,000 dollars and will last a year with another $15.2 million being paid by the Cleveland Browns for the remainder of the year.
