Pine Creek football returns as 4A defending champs

Posted: Updated:
COLORADO SPRINGS -

The Champs have returned.

Pine Creek is back on the field aiming for their fourth 4A state title in five years.

Head Coach Todd Miller returns a young team as he said and likes his defense right now.

"We have some different expectations with some guys," Miller said. "Sometimes you revert back to that human nature of stepping back a little bit, so we have to get some guys to come out of their shell and become leaders and and be more productive on the practice field."

Pine Creek opens their season Saturday September 2nd vs. Thunder Ridge.
