PUEBLO -

Pueblo police are looking for help to identify the man involved in an auto and identity theft case. Officers are investigating two auto theft reports that are similar in circumstances.

A gold Acura MDX SUV was reported stolen to the Pueblo County Sheriff's office on Saturday, Aug. 5. On that same day, officers said a credit card associated with the stolen car was used at a northside Walmart. The Acura was found Friday morning.

On Sunday, Aug. 6, a 2006 GMC Sierra 1500 truck with a matching camper shell was reported stolen. that same day a credit card associated with that vehicle was used at the southside Walmart.

Police are actively looking for this vehicle, because every time they try to conduct a traffic stop, the suspect initiates a dangerous chase and gets away from officers.

They have released more information about the GMC, the truck has damage to the right rear brake light with a white paint transfer. It also has a broken camper shell window and a broken passenger window. The license plate is 581QWW.

The suspect is only described as a Hispanic male with a buzz cut.

It'll cost you more than $100 and even though they advertise it as a national permit, it's not valid in Colorado and a number of other states.
