No rush-hour worries in Boulder for 'Tube to Work Day'

Plenty of Boulder residents opted for the scenic route to work Friday for "Tube to Work Day."

Hundreds of tubers hit Boulder Creek for the annual holiday, many with wacky floats, and some even dressed in their professional attire while braving the cold rapids.

The creek was a little congested at times. But there were certainly no road rage incidents or rush hour worries, and no explanation necessary for being a little wet upon arrival at the office.

The event was started by two friends in Boulder in 2008, and has had more and more participants every year since.
