387 people cited for DUI in Colorado over July 4th holiday

Posted: Updated:

A total of 387 people statewide were cited for impaired driving over the July 4th holiday this year.

That's 60 more than last year, according to law enforcement. The top three spots for arrests were Colorado Springs, Greeley, and Denver.

Colorado State Troopers made 86 arrests statewide.

All of this serves as yet another reminder to ALWAYS have a designated driver or safe ride planned. The Heat is On increased enforcement campaign starts up again on August 18th.
