TRINIDAD -

A home in Trinidad is now wide open to the elements and unlivable following an explosion Friday. Photos from the home on the 1100 block of Smith Street show one entire side of the building is rubble.

Authorities suspect a natural gas leak played a role in the blast. The structure did not burn.

No one was injured in the incident before 10 a.m. Fortunately, no one was home at the time of the blast.

Air monitoring equipment is already on site to check for any additional hazardous conditions.
