Closures scheduled for construction on I-25/Cimarron project

Posted: Updated:

Multiple overnight closures are scheduled next week for construction on the I-25 and Cimarron road project.

From ramp closures to shutting down the entire interstate, there are several different things could impact your commute if you travel through the area overnight.

Pay close attention when driving near the I-25/Cimarron Project. Slow down, observe speed limits, avoid distractions, and allow extra time for your commute. Use an alternate route if able.

The $113 million project involves rebuilding the I-25 interchange, intended to provide enhanced operations, correct existing safety and design deficiencies, and to serve travel demands in the area. CDOT says substantial completion is planned for December 2017.

For more information, visit the project website. See a detailed list of upcoming closures here.
