The late May snow is not slowing down rafters in Colorado. A group of guides took a trip in Poudre Canyon. The guides work for a whitewater company and say this type of training is important.

"A lot of these guys with training don't have as much river experience, so this will probably be their first time rafting in this kind of weather. We see weather changes in Colorado. We often do trips where it might be raining, it might be hailing, so a little snow doesn't scare us," said one of the guides.

At least six inches of snow fell on Poudre Canyon during the May 18th storm. As for other parts of the state, Denver saw about half an inch and six inches fell in Castle Rock. San Isabel saw three feet of snow.
