Safety Jam for health and safety education Saturday in Pueblo

News 5 is a proud sponsor of AMR Safety Jam, a free festival in Pueblo with education booths on safe and healthy practices to improve the well-being of the community.

Safety Jam will be emceed by News 5's Lena Howland for the second year in a row. About 3,600 people attended the event last year, and more than 4,000 are expected to attend this year.

The event will have 60 booths set up for health and safety education, along with tons of giveaways, including bikes, skateboards, and more.

Safety Jam is free to the public and starts 10:30 a.m. Saturday at City Park in Pueblo.

    Deputies from the Fremont County Sheriff's Office say a body has been found near the Arkansas River in the Texas Creek area. The discovery was made around sunset at 5 p.m. when investigators responded. It is unclear if the body belongs to a man or woman or any other identifying information.
