Hotel data breech includes Holiday Inn and Crowne Plaza brands

If you stayed at hotel in late 2016, you may want to check your debit or credit card account. 

Intercontinental Hotels Group says more than 1,200 of its hotels were infected with malware that stole customer credit or debit card information between September 29 and December 29. Some of the affected hotels include Holiday Inn and Crowne Plaza brands. 

Intercontinental originally said only a dozen properties were affected, but have since raised the number. 

The hotel chain has not published a complete list of the hotels affected, but it's offering a state-by-state look up page. You can that site here.
