The precision aerobatic demonstration team for the French Air Force visited Colorado Springs for a flyover of the US Air Force Academy and a fuel stop at Peterson AFB.

The Patrouille de France group came to town with 10 aircraft for the display to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the U.S. entry into World War I and a reaffirmation of France's relationship with the United States.

Colorado Springs is the 11th stop on the US schedule for the flight team.

One of the pilots in the team attended the academy in 2004 as an exchange student. Major Nicolas Lieumont will pilot Alpha Jet Athos Four in the demonstration.
