Driver identified in fatal crash on Fountain Blvd

COLORADO SPRINGS -

The driver killed in Thursday's crash on Fountain Blvd has been identified as 50-year-old Jose Salayandia. 

The pickup truck rolled several times at the curve of Fountain Blvd at Mallard Drive. Salayandia was pronounced dead at the scene. His passenger was taken to the hospital to be treated for injuries. 

Both roads were blocked for several hours as crews worked to clear the crash. The cause of the crash has not been released.
