Mountain Metro targets UCCS for its newest users, offering free rides

COLORADO SPRINGS -

Mountain Metro Transit is targeting the University of Colorado-Colorado Springs to find its newest riders.

"This is a great way to introduce local bus service to the students, faculty and staff here at UCCS," said Jim Spice, executive director of parking and transportation, UCCS.

Mountain Metro is offering free rides on all fixed routes to UCCS students, faculty and staff. Rides are free Monday, April 17 through Friday, April 21.

"Using the Mountain Metro bus system to get to school, downtown, shopping, and local attractions is an important transportation option for our community," Spice said.

If you are looking to catch a ride, you can find route information on the Mountain Metro webpage.
