CC men's lacrosse wins home finale 25-1

Posted: Updated:

Sixteen Tigers scored at least one goal as the Colorado College men’s lacrosse team overwhelmed the University of Dallas, 25-1, on Saturday afternoon in its final regular-season home game of the season.

CC, which improved to 10-4 and reached double-digit victories for the eighth year in a row, will have nearly two weeks off before it travels to Whittier College for the annual battle for the Locker-Stabler Cup.

Junior attackman Sam Sheridan led the onslaught with career highs of four goals and six points.

Senior attackman Austin Davie struck three times and added assist while playing only the first 15 minutes, and junior midfielder Jackson Kaplan recorded his first multiple-goal game with three second-half markers.

Sophomore attackman Ethan Moore dished out a game-high three assists and scored once.

Junior long-stick midfielder Grayson Kristoff scored his first career goal 16 seconds into the third quarter, while freshman long-stick middle Cooper Lee notched his first as a Tiger with 1:37 remaining in the frame.

Colorado College got at least a point from 19 different players and matched its high scoring output of the season first set in the 25-4 victory over Augustana College on Feb. 23.

The Tigers launched a season-high 62 shots, compared to only six for the Crusaders.
