PUEBLO -

A storm overnight Thursday into Friday brought heavy snow to the northern part of the News 5 viewing area and strong, damaging winds across the region.

In Pueblo, homeowners woke up to find trees and other debris had damaged their homes and cars. A large limb from a tree along Greenwood Street fell on top of a car. On Colorado Avenue, a large tree was uprooted by high winds and toppled over onto a home.

Use extreme caution if considering moving storm debris around your home. Unpredictable winds could lead to injuries or other dangers, like hitting power lines.

If you have photos or video of how your neighborhood looks after the storm, send them to news@koaa.com or share on our Facebook page - KOAA. Please do not put yourself in danger in order to get a good photo.

The new Children's Hospital Colorado being built in Colorado Springs is already making an economic impact on the city. This is coming from a new study just released out of Summit Economics. In only a matter of a few months the structure of this hospital is already starting to go up along Briargate at the Memorial North campus.
