Be on the lookout for the next two weeks as Colorado Department of Transportation workers remove loose rocks and debris along Highway 50 between Parkdale and Texas Creek.

The roughly 18-mile stretch of highway is west of Cañon City, between State Highway 9 and State Highway 69. Work will also take place on a one-mile stretch of Highway 69 south of Highway 50.

Crews will stop traffic periodically to allow work along rock walls.

Traffic will be impacted on weekdays 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. starting Monday, March 20 until Friday, March 31.
