A major push is on right now in Colorado Springs to bring back a "do-it-yourself" venue that celebrates local art and music.
It was standing room only tonight at the Tim Gill Center for Public Media, as those who were forced from the old Flux Capacitor rallied to find a new home for the venue.
Flux Capacitor was shut down by the fire department in December due to permit issues, but owners' quest to rebuild continues. Supporters say the venue is important for local artists in the community.
Venue owners will try to work with the city and community to fill the void for local musicians who are looking for a replacement.
