Sheriff's office seeks assistance in identifying burglary suspect

Posted: Updated:

El Paso County Sheriff's Office asks for the public's assistance in identifying a burglary suspect.

The suspect, described as an 18-25 year-old Hispanic male with dark hair, was seen on camera burglarizing a home in the 4800 block of Wing Walker Drive on Friday, February 17.

The suspect's entry into the home prompted an alarm, and when deputies arrived to the home, the front door was found open and the rear door glass was broken. The master bedroom appeared to be the only room that was touched, but nothing was stolen, according to EPCSO.

A suspect vehicle seen on camera was a red SUV with gray plastic trim on the bottom, possibly a late 1990 or early 2000 model Jeep Grand Cherokee. The suspect was seen on surveillance footage wearing an oversized white t-shirt, black pants, white tennis shoes, a gold necklace with a large circular medallion, a gold wristwatch on his left wrist, and a metallic bracelet on his right wrist. He has black tattoos on both forearms.

If anyone has information on the identity of this suspect is asked to contact Deputy Jessica Brooke, JessicaBrooke@elpasoco.com.
