Star Days: A Far Away Galaxy

Space Foundation Discovery Center has the perfect day for Star Wars fans planned for Saturday. Come dressed as your favorite character from 10 am to 4 pm for star Days: A Far Away Galaxy. There will be themes droids, crafts, dance offs, and movies. Star Wars: The Force Awakens will be aired at 11 am with popcorn!  The event is included in general admission, which runs $10 for adults and $5 for kids 5-17. You can find out more here.

Nutcracker, The Ballet

The Nutcracker is a popular holiday classic put on all through the season. The Sangre de Cristo Ballet will put on the show this weekend beginning on Thursday at the Sangre de Cristo Arts Center. Performances will be at 7:30pm on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday with earlier 2pm shows on Saturday and Sunday. Tickets are $15 for the general public and $12 for Arts Center members. 32nd Annual Festival Of Lights

The 32nd annual Festival of Lights Parade will light up downtown Colorado Springs on Saturday. The local tradition will begin at 5:50 pm heading south on Tejon St from St. Vrain to Vermijo. Floats, bands, and walkers will feature holiday themes and incorporate tons of lights! Sean Wybrant, 2016 Colorado Teacher of the Year, will serve as Grand Marshall. Holiday Chocolate Festival

Calling all chocolate lovers! The Holiday Chocolate Festival is back in Colorado Springs this weekend. Over 100,000 samples will be available at the Mortgage Solutions Expo Center Friday from 4pm to 9pm and Saturday from 10am to 5pm. In addition to the samples, there will be chocolate available for purchase (hint hint for some holiday gifts), chocolate martinis, and a visit from Santa on Saturday.
