Small Business Saturday will bring a lot of fun to Old Colorado City. Aside from the shopping, there will be A Victorian Christmas Celebration going on in the streets. You’ll find the original Christmas Carolers, Pikes Peak Youth Bell Ringers, entertainment, treats, Christmas specials, and fun. Michael Martin Murphy will bring his Christmas tour to the Tri-Lakes Center For The Arts in Palmer Lake on Sunday. It’s the 25th year for the show, which aims to keep western traditions alive during the holiday season. If you’re sick of the commercialization of Christmas, this is a great reminder of the true spirit of the season. There will be two opportunities to watch- 3pm and 6:30pm. Mountain Artists Holiday Show
The Ute Pass Cultural Center will host the Mountain Artists Holiday Show on Saturday. From 10 am to 4 pm the center will be full of booths selling lamps, candle holders, paintings, art, photographs, Indian beadwork, weavings, and more. The event is free with light refreshments provided. Every half hour there will be a drawing for a $10 coupon good for any booth. You can find more information here.
Manitou Springs Christmas Parade
Saturday kicks off the holiday season in Manitou Springs with a new tradition, the Christmas Parade! Santa will light the downtown tree at 5pm and the parade will begin at 6pm running down Manitou Avenue towards El Paso Blvd. The parade is free, but Toys For Tots representatives will be marching in the parade and collecting donated unwrapped toys from the crowd.
