On Saturday the El Pueblo History Museum in Pueblo will be filled with handmade creations to help with your holiday shopping. Choose from jewelry, home decor, paper goods, food, accessories, and so much more. The event is free and will run from 10am to 4pm. 20th Annual Yot Club Holiday Benefit
The YOT Club, TOY spelled backwards, will host its 20th annual charity event this Saturday night from 7-11pm. The black-tie event at The Mansion on Tejon St. will feature a cocktail reception with performances by The Colorado Springs Conservatory and Ariel Dance Works, door prizes, a silent auction, and more. Minimum admission is a $10 donation, two new books, and one new toy. The donated books and toys will go to underprivileged children in the areas and the money raised will help sponsor youth scholarships. You can find more information here.
Seven Fall at the Broadmoor will kick off the holiday season with its second annual Winter Lights event on Saturday beginning at noon. The festivities will include an Elf Scavenger Hunt, Letters to Santa, Carolers, a holiday themed selfie stations, and holiday beverages. At 5pm Santa will zip line across the canyon and rappel into the park to switch on the lights! Admission is $14 for adults and $8 for kids with a portion of the proceeds supporting the Empty Stocking Fund and the American Cancer Society Pikes Peak Region. You can find more information here.
Skate In The Park
You know we’re getting close to winter when the outdoor ice skating rink opens in Acacia Park! Well, opening day for skating will be Friday November 18th. The rink will stay open until January 16th with theme days, live music, food vendors, Santa visits, and winter fun all season long.
