Colorado's election system back online after brief outage
The Statewide Colorado Registration and Election (SCORE) system was briefly down in parts of the state on Tuesday afternoon, according to a spokeswoman for the Secretary of State. The system was restored less than 30 minutes later. The Secretary of State's office is investigating the outage.
With the SCORE system down, county clerks may not be able to process mail in ballots that need to have the signatures verified. Additionally, in-person voters may have to cast provisional ballots.
Lynn Bartels, the spokeswoman for the Colorado Secretary of State's office tweeted, "Unfortunately, our system goes down now and then."
