Veteran’s Day Parade

Saturday morning there will be a Veterans Day Parade down Tejon Street in Colorado Springs to honor our veterans. All veterans are welcome and the parade is totally free for spectators. Come on down and cheer for those who have served our country. This year’s theme is Women In The Military. The parade starts at 10 am and head south on Tejon Street from St. Vrain to Vermijo Ave. You can find out more here.       

52nd Annual Fall Show and Sale

The Black Forest Arts & Crafts Guild will host its 52nd annual Fall Show and Sale this weekend. From 9am to 8pm Thursday - Saturday and 10am-2pm on Sunday the Black Forest Community Center will have over 90 vendors set up. They will be selling anything you could need for decorating and gifting during the holiday season including quilts, baby items, paintings, jewelry, dolls, note cards, baked goods, and so much more. Admission is free and a portion of sales will benefit the guild’s scholarship fund and the Black Forest community. Find more information here.

Bear Creek’s Bear Run

Bear Creek will have their annual 3k Bear Run Saturday. It’s a fun walk/run event with all participants wearing bear costumes to make things interesting. The run begins at 10 am and will follow the nature trails and regional trail at Bear Creek Regional Park. Arrive by 9:30 am to check in and enjoy some pre-race festivities. After the run there will be vendors and a costume contest. Registration runs between $10- $60. You can register and find more information here.

10th Annual All Colorado Beer Festival

Over 70 brewers from all over Colorado will bring over 220 different beers to the Expo Center on Saturday for the 10th Annual All Colorado Beer Festival. The festival will be broken up into two sessions, starting at 1 pm and 6:30 pm. Not only is there great beer involved, this is also a fund raising event. The festival has donated $315,000 to local nonprofits since it began. General admission will be $40 ahead of time and $45 at the door with some discounts and special tickets available.
