SIMPLY VINTAGE MARKET

Whether you’re always on the hunt for antiques or you just need a new piece for the house, you’ll find plenty of options at the Simply Vintage Market. Friday from 5-8 and Saturday from 9-5 there will be over 120 vendors set up in the Agg Palace at the Colorado State Fairgrounds selling everything from jewelery to furniture to clothes and everything in between. Tickets range from $4 to $10. You can find more information and purchase tickets here.

ALL THINGS HOME

If you’re looking for some inspiration around the house, head out to All Things Home: Colorado Springs Fall Home Show. The event will run 12-6 on Friday, 10-6 on Saturday, and 10-5 on Sunday at the Expo Center on Nevada. There will be ideas for home remodeling and improvement along with things like home security, storage and organization, and some of the latest home trends. Kids are welcome with a Kid Zone that will have plenty of vendors and products directed at their own rooms at your house and a bouncy house that won’t be going home with you. The cost of admission is $3-$5. You can find more information here.

DIG DAY - FAMILY FUN DAY

If you’re in the market for something fun to do with the kids this weekend, check out Dig Day at the Pioneer Museum in Colorado Springs. From 10-2 on Saturday the museum will be open with interactive and hands-on activities about archeology, mining, geology, and paleontology. Educational booths representing local organizations and university will also be around. The event is free, but a $2 donation is suggested. Registration is required and you can do that here.

RUN WITH THE BURROS

On Saturday morning at 11 you can head over to Manitou for their Run with the Burros event. It’s a free 5k jog or walk around the trails of Manitou Springs with the burros. The race starts at Manitou Brewing and they’ll also provide $1 off pints until 2pm for participants. Even if you’re not looking to run, you can still come down between 11:30 and 2 to visit with the burros. You don’t need to sign up ahead of time, just show up by 11. Find more information here.
