RVs are rolling into Colorado Springs this weekend. Thursday through Saturday from 10am to 6pm you can head to the Norris Penrose Event Center to see the latest and greatest in the new 2017 models. There will also be great prices on 2016 models if you’re looking to buy. Tailgating and RVs go well together so there will be a tailgate in preparation for the Broncos game against Tampa Bay. Arts And Craft Fair
The Palmer Lake Art Group’s 43rd Annual Arts and Crafts Fair will be going on Friday and Saturday from 9am to 5pm at Palmer Lake Town Hall. There will be original arts and crafts created by regional artists. Pottery, paintings, jewelry, gifts, quilts, and more will be available. Admission to the event is free and proceeds from the sale will benefit scholarships for D-38 seniors. More information can be found here.
Rock Ledge Ranch Harvest Festival
As we start the month of October this weekend, Fall is in full swing and to celebrate, Rock Ledge Ranch is having a Harvest Festival on Saturday. Admission will be free from 10am to 3pm. The farm will be filled with activities and fun with pony rides, horse drawn wagons, pumpkin picking, music, and pie! Rock Ledge House and the Estate House will be open for tours. There will also be food vendors and a silent auction. While general admission is free, fees will apply to most activities. More information here.
Palmer Lake .5K
Awake Palmer Lake is holding a .5K on Sunday. The course will feature a donut stop at the halfway point and a free beer at O’Malley’s Pub, where the finish line will be. You can crash the course anytime between 9:30am and 11:30am with a shotgun start at 10:30am. Since it’s a Sunday, Broncos gear is encouraged, with a prize for the best Broncos wear. Day of pricing is $30 and all proceeds go to Awake Palmer Lake. More Information here.
