The US Army Special Operations Command (SOC) is switching from Android to the iPhone 6s.
According to DoD Buzz, the SOC's Android devices wouldn't refresh properly and have to be restarted too often while using specialized "apps" as a result of freezing. The app described by DoD Buzz's sources splits the screen between a video feed from an unmanned aircraft system (UAS) and its route. Apparently, the iPhone's graphics are "clear" and "unbelievable."
