Posted: Updated:

Spring has sprung yet winter weather continues pushing through this weekend.  Most of Southern Colorado is not seeing snow yet, but in high country along I-70 travelers are already dealing with blowing winds, snow packed roads and icy conditions.  Some stretches of the interstate and a number of country high passes have been shut down due to multiple crashes and treacherous driving conditions.  If you do plan on traveling check out road conditions here www.cotrip.org/map.htm before heading out.
If you were planning on flying this weekend be aware that multiple flights have already been canceled. United Airlines have canceled all flights out of the Colorado Springs Airport as well as the Denver Airport.  Be sure to check with your airline ahead of time to confirm your flight's status.
Bustang is also canceling many of it's runs due to the adverse weather conditions.  A full list of potential closures can be found at  www.codot.gov
Springs Rescue Mission will remain open for the weekend as snow totals for the Springs area will fluctuate, they plan to close for construction Monday.
