Searchers have found the body of a hiker who was reported missing after not returning from a hike in the Longs Peak area in Rocky Mountain National Park.
Park officials said 58-year-old Ronald Webber, of Maitland, Florida, was found dead at the bottom of a cliff Friday. It appears he fell about 200 feet near Pennock Pool, east of Chasm Lake.
Webber reportedly started his hike from the Longs Peak trail head Tuesday morning and did not return to his car. He was not prepared to spend the night, and it is unclear where he intended to go.
A search was launched Thursday.
