Posted: Updated:

The Colorado State University-Pueblo football team moved up another spot in the American Football Coaches Association NCAA Division II poll, as the Pack sit at No. 6 in the Mondayrelease of the coaches' poll.

The ThunderWolves (5-1, 4-0 RMAC) are coming off a homecoming and Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference victory against Fort Lewis University, 45-9.

Minnesota State University, Mankato remained the No. 1 team in the poll with 28 first-place votes, while the ThunderWolves' semifinal opponent a season ago, University of West Georgia, was No. 2 for the fifth straight week and picked up the other four first-place nods.

CSU-Pueblo hits the road Oct. 17 for a conference showdown with Chadron State College (3-3, 2-2 RMAC). The contest is set for a noon kickoff.
