Many in Colorado Springs would support daylight saving proposal

It's a story we've been following for you -- a Lakewood couple is trying to get a question on the November 2016 ballot. They want to permanently put Colorado on Mountain Daylight Time.

To get it on the ballot they would need 86,100 signatures.

News 5 hit the streets Tuesday to see if people would support it.

Tony Burton told News 5 that there's no need for a time change saying "in today's age we have everything -- we have lights, electricity, everything -- there's
no reason to change and reset time."

Angel Gonzalez says "it's miniscule to my life -- it doesn't matter whatsoever. It doesn't affect me in any way."

Farms tell us they're not affected by the time change because farms operate more in sync with nature than a clock.
