Narrative:
I got excited about the weather while earning my private pilot's license many years ago. I've been fortunate enough to forecast in cities with interesting weather patterns: Green Bay, Wisconsin; Syracuse, New York; Pittsburgh and Cleveland.
"Mountain meteorology" is just as challenging as "lake effect" and I'm loving it. My passion for environmental issues drove me to earn a Masters Degree in Environmental Science from Duquesne University in Pittsburgh. I particularly enjoy telling stories about folks who find innovative ways to solve today's environmental problems.
My husband Bill and I spend our spare time outside on trails with our toddler Betsy and Golden Retriever Maddi. With family in the Denver area, it truly feels like home.
