Personal Interests: I love to backpack, ski, mountain bike, cook, and volunteer. I also love to visit and talk with school kids about the importance of education. I've done more than 550 school visits and station tours.
Interesting Facts:
I proposed to my wife "live" on the Today Show in New York.
I am a board member of the Southeastern Colorado Renewable Energy Society.
I am a partner in a company called Sustainable Building Concepts, a firm that specializes in renewable energy, design, engineering, and consulting, as well as green building.
I have done stand-up comedy since I was 15 years old.
I am a percussionist and have played the drums since I was 4 years old.

Narrative:
Craig is originally from Seattle, Washington and came to KOAA-TV in December of 1995. He started in weather working with CBS in Wichita Falls, Texas in 1994. He completed his certification in Meteorology from Mississippi State University in 1996. Prior to that, he earned his undergraduate degree in Radio/Television and Film from the University of North Texas near Dallas. He enjoys giving tours at KOAA and speaking to school children about the weather all over southern Colorado. When not at work, Craig enjoys traveling, mountain biking, kayaking, back packing, skiing and cooking. Craig says, "For me, and my interests in weather, Colorado is an amazing place to live and work!"
