    Arapahoe Basin adds another weekend to ski season

    SILVER PLUME, Colo. (AP) - Arapahoe Basin Ski Area has tacked another weekend onto the season, saying it will be open June 7-9 thanks to late snowfall and cool temperatures.

    The resort had planned to stay open until June 2 but said Wednesday it would add the extra weekend.

    A-Basin hasn't closed since opening day last fall.

    Good conditions also allowed Aspen Mountain to reopen last weekend for late-season skiing.
