Tomato and Hearts of Palm Salad with Shrimp and Caipirinha Shooter

Tomato and Hearts of Palm Salad
1 avocado 1/2 inch diced
12 yellow tear drop tomatoes halved lengthwise
12 grape tomatoes halved lengthwise
1 shallot minced
4 cloves garlic roughly chopped
14 oz. can hearts of palm drained and roughly chopped
1 tbsp. capers
1/2 cup olive oil
2 tbsps. lemon or lime juice
1 tbsp. flat leaf parsley minced
Toss all ingredients together. Serve chilled.
Shrimp and Caipirinha Shooter
16 large cooked shrimp quartered
4 -6 key limes quartered
4 -6 tbsps. sugar
4 -6 oz. Cachaca (Brazilian sugar cane liquor)
Muddle limes and sugar until sugar is dissolved, and liquor, ice and shake. Strain into shot glass. Add shrimp, shoot and enjoy.
