Have you ever wondered what you'd look like with plastic surgery?
Well now new technology can show you just that.
"It allows patients after they see the 3d image to have an assessment of exactly what they'd look like and what their expectations can be for surgery," said Dr. Aaron Smith.
Dr. Smith does cosmetic and reconstructive surgery in Colorado Springs.
New 3d imaging called Vectra gives patients a more clear idea of what they would look like with certain procedures, like nose jobs and breast augmentations.
"For example, if we're going to do a breast augmentation we can see exactly what size implants we would put in and what that would look like and the patient can have realistic expectations as far as what they would look like after surgery," he said.
He says most people have said they're excited to see their results before surgery.
"It's financially a big decision, to undergo surgery is a big decision, and to feel more confident in your decision makes all the difference," he added.
Using the Vectra is part of his consultations and he says it also help him with surgery.
"It's an exciting advance and I think as time goes by this is where plastic surgery is going to go. People want to see their results, they want to see what they're going to look like," said Dr. Smith.
