A young Florida boy is overcoming the odds and is tooting his horn.
Eleven-year-old Ethan Heitner loves to play the trumpet in his middle school band.
The only problem is Ethan was born without his left arm and he only has three fingers on his right hand.
Until recently, Ethan played the trumpet with the instrument tucked between his knees.
But now Ethan can play with ease thanks to the work of his school's maintenance man.
You see, he built a special stand for Ethan's instrument.
The stand allows Ethan, despite having just one hand, to play just like other kids in the band.
Ethan says while he would like to be just like other kids, his handicap has taught him to never give up on his dream.
