If you've been looking for a way to spruce up or change your yard, this is the weekend to get xeriscape ideas.
There was a free, self-guided tour in Pueblo Saturday where you could learn about gardening and xeriscape, which takes little water.
One of the homeowners says it took about ten years to get his yard the way he wanted it.
He has a drip line but hardly ever has to turn it on.
"Didn't want to water a whole lot," said Glenn Ross, one of the homeowners on the xeriscape tour. "Water gets expensive. It's time consuming. My wife races mountain bikes. We're gone a lot."
The tour continues Sunday, this time in Pueblo West.
