There's a special art exhibition now on display at Fort Carson's Evans Army Hospital.
"Wounded in Action" is a traveling display, that features artwork from military personnel who were wounded in battle, and the doctors who treated them.
It's a tribute to those who have served their country, but also a call to action highlighting the need for continued help for our wounded warriors.
The hospital's commander says it's a glimpse of what troops face in the reality of war.
"It captures really combat trauma from the life saving intervention of the field, to limb saving surgery all the way back to rehab. Also captures just the essence of advancements of orthopedic surgery and sacrifices made by the soldiers." said Colonel John McGrath
The exhibit is open to the public and will be presented everyday until March 2nd. The hours are 9am to 4pm
