World food day is today

Around a dozen people are waving signs and banners and handing out flyers on the Academy and Voyager intersection in the north part of Colorado Spring today. Group members say they are standing up for their right to have genetically modified foods labeled.
Carol Grieve of Food Integrity Now added that genetically modified foods cause immune issues, contribute to cancer among other things. Foods containing GMO's (genetically modified organisms), Grieve says, "Are making us sick."
